1. Nature of the Service — Mathematical Primitives Only

AxisTruth provides a REST API that returns mathematical primitives: portfolio weights, position sizes, factor scores, and stress-test projections computed from deterministic algorithms (HRP, Kelly, Fama-French factors, Monte Carlo stress simulation).

AxisTruth does not provide investment advice. Output from the AxisTruth API is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial instrument. You are solely responsible for any investment, trading, or portfolio management decisions you make using output from this API.

AxisTruth does not connect to, access, or execute trades on any brokerage account. No auto-trading to user broker accounts is performed or facilitated by AxisTruth.

2. Publisher Exemption

AxisTruth operates as a publisher of mathematical computations, not as a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Use of this API does not create a fiduciary or advisory relationship. AxisTruth is not subject to investment adviser registration requirements under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 in connection with the provision of mathematical output via this API.

You acknowledge that: (a) past performance of any mathematical model does not guarantee future results; (b) all models have assumptions and limitations; (c) you have obtained independent professional advice as appropriate for your situation before relying on any output.

3. Acceptable Use

• You may use the API for personal, commercial, research, and automated-system use consistent with these terms.
• You may not resell raw API access or create a competing API service using AxisTruth output as a pass-through.
• You may not use the API for market manipulation, front-running, or any activity prohibited by applicable securities law.
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent rate limits, or scrape beyond your tier’s monthly quota.

4. Rate Limits and Tiers

Free tier: 100 calls/month, 5 requests/minute. Pro tier: 50,000 calls/month, 100 requests/minute, <300ms p95 latency SLA. Enterprise: custom. Exceeding limits returns HTTP 429. Upgrade via Stripe Customer Portal.

5. Data + Statelessness

Holdings and portfolio data POSTed to AxisTruth endpoints are processed in-memory and discarded after each response. AxisTruth does not store, log, or aggregate your portfolio composition data. See Privacy Policy for full detail.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AXISTRUTH AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE API, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY INVESTMENT LOSSES OR FINANCIAL HARM. AXISTRUTH’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE API IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. AXISTRUTH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE API WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT MATHEMATICAL OUTPUT WILL BE SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be emailed to registered users.
